AIRBORNE NETWORK EXTENSION CLUSTER

Abstract

The object of the present invention is to provide an over the horizon communication system comprising at least two end nodes the end nodes being configured to receive and transmit communication signals and providing communication between the at least two end nodes. The system further comprises at least two in the troposphere and/or stratosphere airborne network extension nodes that are communicatively connected to the end nodes and wherein the end nodes are arranged for bidirectional or unidirectional communication with the network extension nodes and the network extension nodes are arranged for bidirectional or unidirectional communication between the individual network extension nodes and bidirectional or unidirectional communication with the end nodes.
