The present application belongs to the field of secondary batteries. Disclosed are an alkali metal battery and an electric device. The alkali metal battery comprises a battery main body and a housing for accommodating the battery main body, wherein the battery main body comprises a positive electrode sheet, an electrolyte and a negative electrode sheet; and the residual space inside the housing is 0.15 mL/Ah to 2 mL/Ah, the pressure inside the housing is less than or equal to 0.65 MPa, and the partial pressure P of hydrogen inside the housing ranges from 0 MPa to 0.65 MPa. The alkali metal battery further comprises a hydrogen storage alloy, wherein the hydrogen storage alloy is arranged between the battery main body and the housing, and a hydrogen absorption platform pressure of the hydrogen storage alloy is less than or equal to 1 MPa. The alkali metal battery in the present application contains a hydrogen storage alloy, which can absorb hydrogen generated by the battery, reduce the risk of thermal runaway of the alkali metal battery, reduce the internal pressure of the alkali metal battery, and prolong the service life of the alkali metal battery.
