The present invention relates to an article delivery system and a delivery method capable of receiving an article without landing of an aerial vehicle when delivering the article to an aerial vehicle such as an unmanned aerial vehicle or a manned aerial vehicle. The article delivery system may comprise: an aerial vehicle which receives or grips the article and drops the article; and a receiving device which can be unfolded or folded to receive the article falling from the aerial vehicle.
