An apparatus for supplying drinking water comprises a sterilizing unit equipped with an ultraviolet sterilizer and used for sterilizing the raw water stored in the sterilizing unit by irradiating the ultraviolet light to the raw water; a filter unit equipped with a filtering material to remove the pollutant in the raw water; a clean water storage unit equipped with a faucet part to extract the clean water stored therein; a connecting unit for connecting the sterilizing unit or the filter unit with the clean water storage unit to provide a clean water flowing path between the sterilizing unit or the filter unit and the clean water storage unit; and an opening/closing unit arranged at the connecting unit to open/close the clean water flowing path. In the device, the clean water storage unit, the filter unit and the sterilizing unit are stacked in a three-stage manner.
