Ceramic filter aggregate and honeycomb filter

Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceramic filter aggregate excellent in strength. SOLUTION: A ceramic filter aggregate 9 constitutes a part of an exhaust gas cleaning apparatus and is constituted by mutually bonding the outer peripheral surfaces of a plurality of columnar honeycomb filters F1 each comprising a porous ceramic sintered body through ceramic seal material layers 15 to integrate the honeycomb filters F1. When a ratio of the length L of each filter along the flow direction of a fluid to be treated and the cross-sectional area S of each filter is set to L/S, the value of L/S is 0.06-0.75 mm/mm2.
