A control method for a movable platform, comprising: in response to a received target selection instruction, determining a specific target as a target object that a movable platform follows, the position of the specific target relative to the position of a positioning apparatus satisfying a first preset condition, wherein the target selection instruction is triggered on the basis of a first input of a user, and the first input is independent of the display position of the specific target in an image captured by a photography apparatus of the movable platform (S110); and in response to a received follow-starting instruction, controlling the movable platform to start to follow the target object, wherein the follow-starting instruction is triggered on the basis of a second input of the user (S120). The selection efficiency and accuracy of a target can be improved. Further provided are a control apparatus, a device, a movable platform, and a storage medium.
