[0000] A display device includes: a substrate; pixel electrodes and a common electrode located on the substrate; and a light emitting element located on the pixel electrodes and the common electrode, wherein the light emitting element includes: a semiconductor stack having a structure in which light emitting units configured to emit light of different colors are stacked; a passivation film located on a side surface of the semiconductor stack; and at least one side electrode located on a side surface of the passivation film and electrically connected to the semiconductor stack on the side surface of the semiconductor stack.
