Ein dem Sensorsignal entsprechender Signalverlauf wird berechnet, und eine absolute Differenz der Sensorsignalwerte relativ zum Signalverlauf wird generiert, um eine Gruppe absoluter Differenzwerte zu erhalten. Die absoluten Differenzwerte werden sortiert, und ein Knickpunkt in den sortierten absoluten Differenzwerten wird identifiziert. Ein Schwellenwert wird basierend auf dem Knickpunkt generiert. Der landwirtschaftliche Aufprallsensor ist dazu ausgelegt, Getreideaufprälle unter Verwendung des Schwellenwerts zu erkennen.
