The electronic device includes a display, memory for storing at least one computer program including a plurality of instructions, and at least one processor communicatively coupled to the display and the memory, and the at least one computer program, when executed individually or collectively by the at least one processor, cause the electronic device to divide the display into a first part and a second part in case that a predetermined first condition is satisfied, allocate one of the first part or the second part to a first application running in a foreground, allocate another of the first part or the second part to a second application running in the foreground, and distribute events of the first and second applications so as to be processed independently of each other.
