This foldable electronic device may comprise a flexible display panel including a first portion, a second portion, and a third portion between the first portion and the second portion. The third portion may be bent when a first housing part and a second housing part of the electronic device are folded. The third portion may comprise: a light-emitting layer including light-emitting units in a display area, and a circuit layer. The circuit layer may comprise: a light-emitting unit driving circuit; and a gate driver circuit electrically connected to the light-emitting unit driving circuit. At least a portion of the gate driver circuit may overlap one or more of the light-emitting units in an edge area of the display area of the third portion.
