LIQUID HYDROGEN DRONE FUEL REMAINING NOTIFICATION SYSTEM AND ITS CONTROL METHOD

Abstract

A liquid hydrogen drone fuel remaining amount notification system is provided, comprising: a sensor unit for measuring the weight of a liquid hydrogen container when the liquid hydrogen container in which liquid hydrogen is stored is mounted on a drone; a mass flow meter (MFM) for measuring the amount of hydrogen used between the liquid hydrogen container and the fuel cell stack; a control unit for receiving the weight and fuel usage detected by the sensor unit and the mass flow meter via the input of the ID of the liquid hydrogen container, and calculating the remaining fuel amount by comparing it with a preset remaining amount value; and a communication unit for transmitting the data calculated by the control unit to a drone controller. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the remaining fuel amount of the liquid hydrogen container is measured through the sensor unit, and when the remaining fuel amount measured by the control unit is calculated to be below a preset threshold, the communication unit transmits this in real time to the drone controller, thereby allowing the drone controller to predict the remaining liquid hydrogen amount in advance and prevent a drone crash.
