Methods, apparatus and systems for wireless sensing are described. An example method comprises: transmitting a sensing measurement setup request to a first sensing responder device and a second sensing responder device; configuring, via the sensing measurement setup request, the first sensing responder device to function as a sensing transmitter for a sensing session; configuring, via the sensing measurement setup request, the second sensing responder device to function as a sensing receiver for the sensing session; transmitting a frame to the first sensing responder device to cause the first sensing responder device to transmit a wireless sounding signal directly to the second sensing responder device; and receiving a sensing measurement report from the second sensing responder device. The sensing measurement report comprises channel information (CI) derived from the wireless sounding signal received by the second sensing responder device from the first sensing responder device.
