An electronic device according to an embodiment disclosed in the present document may comprise: a display; at least one processor; and a memory for storing instructions. The instructions may be executed by the at least one processor to cause the electronic device to: determine at least one AI function applicable to first content displayed by means of a display; identify one or more objects associated with the at least one AI function in the first content; display, on the first content, an indicator indicating that the at least one AI function is executable for the one or more objects; acquire one or more pieces of second content in which the at least one AI function is executed for each of the one or more objects while displaying the indicator on the first content; and provide, on the display, second content selected by a user from among the one or more pieces of second content. Various other embodiments identified by the present document are possible.
