Abstract

[0001] The disclosures herein relate to the construction and implementation of a microfluidic biosensor for the detection of pathogens, novel primarily from the manner in which microfluidics, immune-magnetic separation are integrated to result in a system capable of accurate, fool-proof real-time on-field detection of pathogens and pathogenic substances without requirement of sophisticated laboratory setup.
