[0001] The present invention relates to a method for the preparation of microwave assisted green synthesis of silver nanoparticles. The present method comprises Nyctanthes arbor-trisitis plant extract, aqueous solution of AgN03 and uses microwave radiation that can reduce the silver tons into the silver nanoparticles. The formation of silver nanoparticles can be confirmed by any visualization techniques. The present method of preparation is rapid, user-friendly and costeffective in nature.
