Abstract

[0001] The disclosure relates to a mobile system for inserting a storage bin into an automated storage and retrieval system, the mobile system comprising a mobile platform; a storage bin input stage; a storage bin output stage; and a robotic arm for transferring a storage bin from the storage bin input stage to the storage bin output stage. At least one of the storage bin input stage, storage bin output stage and robotic arm is on the mobile platform.
