Disclosed herein is a modular heat sink including a first heat sink module and second heat sink module. The first heat sink module includes a first heat pipe, a first set of fins attached to the first heat pipe, and a base attached to the first heat pipe. The second heat sink module includes a second heat pipe and a second set of fins attached to the second heat pipe. The first heat pipe is connected to the second heat pipe.
