A movable platform and a control method therefor, an extension member, a system, a device and a medium. The movable platform comprises: a first communication component, used for communication; a first interface, used for mating with a second interface of a removable relay extension member to implement a removable connection between the movable platform and the removable relay extension member, the removable relay extension member comprising a second communication component; and one or more processors, configured to: control the movable platform to switch between a non-relay mode and a relay mode when the second interface and the first interface are in a mated state, and, when the removable relay extension member is removed from the movable platform so as to cause the second interface and the first interface to be in a disconnected state, control the relay mode of the movable platform to be disabled.
