Abstract

[0001] The present invention relates to a multi-modal vehicle (2) operable in a first mode as a fixed wing aircraft and reconfigurable to be operable in a second mode as a ground vehicle. The vehicle comprises first (12) and second ends (14) configured to operate in a first direction (6), with the first end leading the second end, in the first mode and in a second direction (10), with the second end (14) leading the first end (12), in normal operation in the second mode.
