A process and apparatus are disclosed for generating power by burning hydrogen gas in IC engine produced from reacting waste Aluminium and water with the help of catalyst Sodium Hydroxide. The process consists of reaction chamber with cartridge, aqueous flash filter, moisture separator, and accumulator, pressure compensating unit, fire arrestor, internal combustion engine and alternator for producing power. The apparatus for carrying out the method uses flow rate of water and sodium hydroxide to control the vigor and the duration of the reaction.
