The present invention relates to a method for regenerating a diesel engine particulate matter reduction device and a regeneration device using the same. The present invention provides a particulate matter reduction device regeneration device, comprising: an injector installed at a predetermined position on an exhaust passage in which a particulate matter reduction device for capturing particulate matter generated from an engine is installed and injects fuel into the exhaust passage; an ignition means installed near the injector and forming a flame using the fuel injected from the injector and exhaust gas discharged from the engine; a flame stabilizer for maintaining the formed flame and smooth flow distribution; and a pressure sensor installed on the exhaust passage for measuring pressure, wherein the injector and the ignition means are operated based on the pressure in the exhaust passage measured by the pressure sensor.
