The present disclosure provides a robotic swimming pool cleaner and a swimming pool cleaning system. The swimming pool cleaning system comprises a robotic swimming pool cleaner, a floating platform and a buoyancy adjustment unit, wherein the floating platform is configured for carrying the robotic swimming pool cleaner and is capable of driving the robotic swimming pool cleaner to move toward or away from a waterline; and the buoyancy adjustment unit is configured for adjusting buoyancy of the floating platform. Thus, this allows a robotic swimming pool cleaner to move close to or away from a waterline in an automated manner, without human intervention and with a higher degree of automation, thereby helping to increase cleaning efficiency of robotic swimming pool cleaners.
