A searchlight device (100), a detection device (200), a control method, a control device (2000), and a mobile platform (1000). The searchlight device (100) comprises at least two searchlights (10) and at least one driving mechanism (20). The at least one driving mechanism (20) is used for driving at least one searchlight (10) among the at least two searchlights (10) to change the orientation. In response to the searchlight device (100) entering a first mode, the at least one driving mechanism (20) is used for driving at least one searchlight (10) to change the orientation, so as to adjust the overlap of illumination areas of the at least two searchlights (10) to a first overlap; and in response to the searchlight device (100) entering a second mode, the at least one driving mechanism (20) is used for driving at least one searchlight (10) to change the orientation, so as to adjust the overlap of the illumination areas of the at least two searchlights (10) to a second overlap. The first mode and the second mode are related to the photographing mode of the mobile platform (1000) used for carrying the searchlight device (100), and the first overlap is different from the second overlap. The overlap of the illumination areas can be adaptively adjusted.
