[0000] According to an embodiment, it is a device comprising a one or more layer bag attached to the device, wherein the one or more layer bag comprises a compartment; wherein the one or more layer bag is filled with the liquid and folded to surround a portion of the user; wherein an inner layer of the one or more layer bag is a thin, flexible, and waterproof membrane that conforms closely to a body shape of the portion of the user and contours such that the user experiences hydrostatic forces and thermal effects of water immersion without direct contact with the liquid; wherein the device is adapted for exerting the hydrostatic forces around the portion of the user while sitting or standing in an upright position to experience buoyancy and simulate zero gravity; and wherein the device is configured to enclose the portion of the user for hydrotherapy.
