[0001] The present invention relates to a drug delivery system comprising solid lipid nanoparticles (SLNs) wherein the solid lipid nanoparticles comprise a therapeutically effective amount of Tazarotene or it pharmaceutically acceptable salts, one or more lipid(s) and surfactant(s) along with one or more pharmaceutically acceptable excipients. The present invention also relates to a pharmaceutical composition comprising this delivery system and a process for the preparation of such composition thereof.
