4. No Attorney-Client Relationship

6. Fees and Payment

Our professional fees are communicated transparently before any engagement begins. Fees are subject to change but any change will be communicated to existing clients before it takes effect. Government filing fees (payable to the Indian Patent Office, Trade Marks Registry or other government bodies) are separate from our professional fees and are charged at actual cost.

Fees are non-refundable once work has commenced unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Confidentiality

We treat all information shared with us regarding your inventions, innovations and business strategies as strictly confidential. We will not disclose your confidential information to any third party without your explicit written consent, except as required by law or necessary to provide the services (such as filing with government offices).

A formal Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is available upon request before any confidential information is shared.

8. Client Responsibilities

To enable us to provide effective services, clients are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information about their inventions and requirements
• Reviewing and approving documents (patent applications, trademark applications) before filing
• Responding to our communications in a timely manner — delays in response may affect filing deadlines
• Informing us of any changes to their invention or requirements
• Paying fees as agreed

9. Limitation of Liability

ISERDIndia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of our services or the outcome of IP applications. Our liability, if any, is limited to the professional fees paid for the specific service in question.

We do not guarantee the grant of any patent, trademark or other IP right, as these decisions rest with the respective government offices. We commit to providing competent and diligent professional services.
